Puffin Charters is based at Poole in Dorset. The yacht "Lucky Puffin" is available for skippered charters only although the skipper will allow you to sail her yourself if you are competent and/or will give you informal tuition if you wish.
"Lucky Puffin" is a very safe, stable, family cruising yacht. She complies with the Maritime and Coast Guard Agency Small Commercial Vessel requirements.
Accompanied children and young adults are most welcome. Lifejackets harnesses and lifelines are worn whilst in the cockpit or on deck and lifelines are clipped on whilst on deck.
LUNCH AND BEVERAGES ARE PROVIDED BUT YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN IF YOU WISH, OR EAT ASHORE.
Alison, the skipper is a fully qualified Yachtmaster (Offshore) with Commercial Endorsement and Cruising Instructor.
There are a great variety of places to visit from Poole - depending on the length of your charter.

"Lucky Puffin", a Moody Eclipse 33, is a comfortable 6 berth, 10 metre yacht based in Poole Harbour. She has additional below decks steering providing complete shelter and enabling the helmsman to join family/friends in the comfort of the deck saloon!
"Lucky Puffin" can sail out to sea at all states of the tide; she is ideal whether you are a couple, a family or a group of friends considering a skippered yacht charter.
"Lucky Puffin" is easy to sail with all lines leading to the cockpit for safe handling. She is fully equipped with all the necessary navigation and safety gear including RADAR and GPS and is DoT Small Commercial Vessel Category 2 Coded.
